Get a win, and we are all-the-sudden 20-17 (6-9) with a chance to make the postseason. Throw strikes, JB

We need the JB that can get out of the 1st inning tomorrow! Not the other one.

RPI is at 68 without counting Today's win. Win tomorrow and will jump some more. Auburn RPI is 12.

if we win tomorrow, doesn't that mean we beat 2 ranked SEC teams in a row? taking the series?

what percentage of the game did Yogi say was mental?

still not understanding Henderson leaving a TJ pitcher out that long. has anyone splained that yet?

Bulldog1

Every conference game we play from this point will be against an opponent with a top 18 RPI. Just keep winning.
ETA- Except Alabama. They're at 47.

I don’t know how many pitches he threw. But there is a different between 100+ pressure situation pitches and 100+ easy late inning . I know he threw like 9 or 10 pitches in the 6th. Very easy inning

He was around 115 I believe.

If I recall in the game thread, he was at 111. isn't that a bit high all things considered? not an expert in this arena, just asking / saying.

Depends on how early he got the surgery last season. I can't remember if he got it really early on or if he was one of the slew who had like one or two outings early in the year before getting the surgery

ETA: and as someone else said, he didn't have to dig deep for many of his last 30 pitches or so. He was cruising

No problem with stretching small a little. I would've had a problem with going another inning

in any given appearance, JB can go walk the bases loaded and then hand the baseball to Cole Gordon in 0.0 innings of work. 12 pitches 12 balls.

Or he can have a decent game

JB is a Forest Gump box-of-chocolates

RPI down to 56. Will presumably be in the 40s with a win tomorrow

If Auburn gets the rain we received in Miss today, I doubt we will be able to play tomorrow.

The good thing about JB is you usually know pretty soon whether he is on or not.

I'm not sure who is touting this team as being good. I don't see this team as good, but I do see them as improving. We have a chance to win an sec road series vs a top 25 team tomorrow after winning a home sec series vs a top 5 team.

Well if we win tomorrow , it will be odd if we hire Butch to come back to the Dude. I know there will be bitching, probably have more pros and cons than the Stansbury threads.

PS I don't care, just make a observation.

I'll be disappointed with Butch anyways. My hope is we get an elite coach.

We have to finish .500 overall. Assuming no rainouts, that?s 28 wins.
We need to win another 2 series and not get swept.

SEC baseball is so strong that you can be the 10th or 11th best team in the conference and still make the NCAA Tournament. That may be our situation this year. Time will tell.

Todd4State

If we do make it will be as a three seed somewhere. We still have no margin for error- or at least very little. Making a regional would be a good accomplishment for this team. Heck, I'll take a winning season with this group.
