“There’s just very few things he does well.”~ Un-named Cowboys staff member...
As bad as I hate to say it, he’s right. I’m ready to cut him loose. He’s become dead weight for our team. What y’all think?

Agreed.

He has lost a step and now is basically a non blocking TE. He still is strong but he rarely beats anyone deep.

For the last few years i've wondered if it was just my untrained eye not seeing things correctly. He doesn't appear to be a great receiver. Good, sure. But not great.

Jerry must love him otherwise he'd have been traded by now.

He's a big cap hit. You can't get anything for him. He's worse than worthless.

Dez is still pretty dang good battling for a ball in the air. He's not worth his salary anymore though.

Yeah, he's a great redzone option, but he runs routes like old people ****....and as you said, that ain't worth 13 mil a year

If the Cowboys don't draft their future at WR in the 1st round they are dumb. You force Dez to step it up by drafting someone high because another 1st round WR could very well challenge him for catches. That would devalue him significantly, which is $$$ out of his pocket when trying to get a new contract or go somewhere else and get paid.

He won't let that happen.

Dez doesnt run good routes, he takes plays off, he's only interested in jump balls, he's lost a step and he doesn't scare db's anymore. He's a good redzone target because he can still get the jump balls, but he's paid to be a #1 WR and he ain't it.

Well, Jerry Jones owns the team, and you never know what he will do.

Dez isn't even a good jump ball WR anymore. This WR class is really thin when Ridley is possibly the top guy. Dallas is screwed this year in the WR dept. They better go get a stud DL first.

I would say I’m ready for him to go to the nursing home, but Stephen will take over and be no better. Anybody that keeps Jason Garrett as coach is an absolute joke.

Between this statement, anonymous or not, and the report a few months ago that Dez won't take a pay cut to clear cap space as requested, I think the writing is on the wall that he won't be back with the Cowboys.

Haha. I’m over Dez, have been for a year, but I’m still upset about getting robbed in Green Bay. He caught that ball!

They have us second tier free agency to moderately improve their wr position. Second rate but consistent receivers will help Dak more than a pouting prima donna. If they are able to add one or two wideouts at the draft, then all the better.

This draft isn't full of elite wr. Drafting a wr in the 1st would be the dumbest thing they can do. They have lots of needs, and with way better players than the best wr available. Get that later!!

Wouldn’t doubt it. I challenge any NFL Referee to watch this and deny this is a catch. http://themajors.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/dez-bryant-catch-against-green-bay.gif

Butch Johnson agrees. 78 SB catch for those of you who don't know.//
