21 points, 25 boards, 3 blocks. She has no skills though. ***********

Loved the Spike to start overtime. It's like walking over and pissing on someones welcome mat while looking them in their eye.

She also played all 45 minutes.

Last part of the game: gets offensive rebound off missed free throw, puts it back in and gets the foul, makes free throw. Runs down court and spikes ball out of bound on block. I think the hacking gets her fired up!

If anyone here still feels the need to put McCowan down for any reason, they need to seek professional help.

Saw someone dissing her intelligence in the game thread.

She's actually one of the smartest people on our team. Great in person and great in interviews. She was very thankful to all of the fans that showed up last year in the Final Four

Her interviews always crack me up. She always sounds very intelligent but also very young. Sometimes I forget our players are 20-25 years younger than me.

She's clearly intelligent, and seems to be sort a sweet kid. There are plenty of jackass fans of opposing schools who will supply the juvenile insults.

Did y’all just see her shake hands with Kobe? She made a silly face after, got to be exciting for her.

Yeah, that was great. T is an awesome ambassador for our school.

Ask 34 about it. He loves hating on her.

Wanda is awesome and played great. She is the NCAA equivalent on Shaq. She played big tonight. Proud of Wanda

But still the derogatory name.

I nickname everyone. My own kid wears glasses and I call him Squints. Nobody is off limits with me

alot of people choose to not be offended constantly

A lot of people also choose not to do it to their own great players in a derogatory manor Like nearly everyone.

All I've ever said is that shes not very skilled. She doesnt shoot mid range or 3s, she doesnt have a real post move.

The closest thing she has is a drop step and to her credit its not bad. Im proud of her and I like her.

But I've also said we wouldnt be where we are without her. Shes great on D and rebounding and playing all 45 mins at her size is almost unheard of.

All of that is facts. Stop being so sensitive

No harm, no foul. Derogatory nicknames has been a part of sports since the beginning of time.

Aren't there nicknames that are off limits for you, though? Like 'ban-worthy' off limits?

[and I ask that not having a clue what they are, or what they mean]

Usually the derogatory ones for great players are from rivals, not supposed fans. 34 did it to Dak and he is even worse with this one.

I wonder how you would do one on one against her.
