The private/public water battle is coming to a head. A popular marina had to close due to being water locked because of private lease holders. The general public is finally in an uproar. A bill has been sponsored. We?ll see

South LA. This has been becoming more of an issue in the last few years. LA has some strange property laws, regarding owning navigable waterways. A lot has to do with eroding marsh/land. There's some strong opinions on each side.

It’s not all as coastal south as you think either. A lot of freshwater fisheries are suffering due to the closures. Now B.A.S.S. has gotten involved supporting the bill. They had previously said they will not host events in LA because of this issue. It’s grtting real.

Yep. Only state that does that. Only the only state that practices civil law instead of common law.
