2 bit has zero business being involved with any hire including basketball. You all see what that produced. And no he isn’t the reason that CBH is here.
And with Kermit , what is suppose to say? He better not worry so much with beating us , AK did that regularly for the past 6 years and he still got canned.
Again best of luck Kermit you are going to need it. Worse men’s basketball job in the conference . And there might be a reason he had been at MTSU for as long as he was.

Kermit was on his way to a really good D1 job years ago. But he was involved in or with some NCAA issues and most D1 programs chose to leave him alone.

So what he wants to beat us, doesn't hurt my ears.

OM fans already going after Kermit. At the Press Conference today, he said “My team will respect the flag” less than 10 minutes into his opening speech, without it being brought up.

Ole miss has the two most over paid coaches in the P 5. Luke is over paid and they just over paid this guy. They are probably under paying Bianco.

Btw, I think Kermit is an OK Coach, I personally don't think he is an upgrade over AK who I think was a decent x and o guy. One thing about AK was his teams played pretty hard and were fundamentally ok.

Winning at Middle Tn is much easier than OM.

I UM wanted to pay me 2.5 a year. I would have the upmost respect for the MSU family and history and try to beat MSU at everything.

This, half their fans or more didn't like the hire because he's a State guy. If I am him and I need the fans to back me I am coming in and talking so much shit it's ridiculous. I would be brutal and play to those idiots. They would eat it up in a second.

Kermit Sr. and Bailey Howell have had a falling out for several years now. Whether this had an effect on Strickland/Kermit Jr. or not I don't know. And yes Ray was a disaster.

Whether or not that had an effect, he still passed on Joe Dooley, who I guarantee would have done better than RR. But I ain’t mad, because we ended up with CBH.

Agree. As much heat as we have taken for our schedule, MSU's Sagarin SOS is 63 and MTSU's is 96. They played no teams in the (Sagarin) Top 25, and went 0-4 vs the Top 50. State went 1-5 vs Top 25 and 6-8 vs Top 50.
