Game starts in just over an hour, and it looks like we'll be playing Oklahoma State, assuming we beat Nicholls. They're up by about 20 over Syracuse.

Why would you have a color analyst with a speech impediment? That is ridiculous. I mean you have an issue talking plainly and get hired for a job where all you do is talk? Believe we are taking the PC thing way too far. Next we have to hire singers that are tone deaf.

Sure don’t, but this color girl sounds needs to move her tongue out of the way and talk clearly.

Which is part of why we won’t beat Uconn if we see them again. The other part is that they are just great.

UConn had 5.5 points/game minute earlier today. They'd already have almost 50, if the defenses were the same. We have 13.

We look like crap on both ends of court. Too hyped up, too out of control. We won't make it far in tourney playing this way.

I expected us to start slow today with the combination of a long layoff and playing a team we are expected to beat. I hope we turn it on soon and blow these guys out and come back Monday and start on fire.

The layoff didn't seem to bother UConn nor the fact they were playing a pushover.

Uconn played a team that literally shot a 3 every trip and didn?t attempt to play defense. They conceded.
But our slow starts have been the norm for a month. Our shooting has fallen off too. Need to figure it all out.

UConn is obviously good but comparing their first round game to our first round game (which we?ll probably win by 40+) doesn?t mean shit.

I'm not counting on playing UConn just yet. Gotta take it one game at a time.

Having said that, I hope they beat everyone up until title game like today. Seen a lot of teams cruising like they did today then when they get in a good scrap, they ain't ready for it.

ETA: Now I ain't saying I've seen anyone cruise like UConn did today, just saying I've seen teams cruising along crushing folks then ain't ready for it when they get in a good scrap.
