I'm not trying to bash on Vann but we have heard that before... and then fell flat in the sec. I hope she proves me wrong and we are better in sec play this year. But I won't fall into believing yet.

Hard to say but not likely unless she finishes under .500 again... we fired Jay Miller after 2 losing seasons before her. Vann had her worst year 2 years ago (26-31 3-21 in sec). Last year she recovered. As long as she stays above .500 for the year and makes the tournament... that's enough to keep her job likely.

Vann doesn't look like she will ever get us even to the top half of the SEC let alone competing for a championship...
So comes down to what Cohen's goals are for the program.

Saw the other day, one of the girls on the team is still playing while in treatment for Ovarian Cancer. Love to see that!

Funny thing is our RPI was in the 30s and we would've made the NCAA Tournament if we'd had an overall winning record.

Vann's never really had us competitive in the SEC, but the SEC is so good that she's consistently had us in the postseason.
