To USM's defense, they've lost 16 straight and they have zero confidence. They probably don't believe they are capable of winning. If they can pull this one out, I'd expect them to look better down the stretch in conference play.

the only way I'd expect them to look better down the stretch in conference play is to switch to the SWAC mid season..and now.. they no longer belong in D-1...

To tell you how bad FIU is: they have been outscored 187-23 by Maryland, UCF, Bethune Cookman and Louisville.
Good grief Buzzards you are officially the worst program in D1.

Just wow...they were favored by 17 going into this game. FIU WAS the worst team in FBS...but now that is Southern... just wow...couldnt believe they lost to FIU.
