Can?t depend on going 9-12 from three point range in a half again. Hey touches in the paint and get their guys in foul trouble. Holman and Ado have 4-5 inches on their guys.

We have to get better rebounding. Just too weak. I think Perry helps us big time rebounding next year. We gotta hit the weights.

Don't know who the foul was called on, but Peters did as you suggested.

No it didn't sound good. But with that guy's shoe landing on his neck, and almost full weight applied, there's no telling how bad. I suppose the first injury was bad enough that he just couldn't move out of the way. Might've even been unconcious for a few minutes since he wasn't moving at all.

The play was just unfortunate how it unfolded but the refs didn't stop play incorrectly or too late. Nick went to the ground while Tennessee got the rebound thus putting Tennessee on offense and you don't stop the play there or else it punishes the offensive team. Then we stole the ball and were on the fast break once again the refs are instructed not to stop the play then either because we are now at the advantage to score. As soon as we missed our fast break shot they stopped the play. They did their job like they are instructed to do. It's just unfortunate that by doing so two players landed on Nick during the fast break. I have never seen that happen but it wasn't miscalled and certainly wasn't criminally negligent. Stop looking for blame. It was just an unfortunate injury that occurred through the nature of the play.

Rule has to be changed. Player safety should be paramount. Still if I see a player on the ground in pain, I’m going to stop play regardless because imo rules like this are barbaric and need to go away. Not stopping play directly led to Nick’s neck injury.

No Liverpool you just always post false statements because you think with emotion. The refs have no idea how hurt or not hurt Nick is at that point. Nobody knew. They aren't allowed to stop play yet. Had they stopped play immediately when Tennessee was going on the fast break and Nick isn't that hurt you woulda seen a major melt from the Vols.

That won't stop flopping cause at what point do you determine a timeout should be taken away? Does the player have to act injured for five minutes? What if the player just got kicked in the nuts and will be ok in two minutes? Does he get called for flopping? Does he have to stay out for five minutes when he's ready in two? Can't open the box man sorry.

So if Tenn grabs the rebound on our fast break scoring opportunity where nick was stepped on and they immediately press it back up the floor, should the refs still not blow the whistle since UT had a scoring advantage? How many advantages does either team get before they finally stop play?As soon as UT missed their advantage, it should be blown dead. After Nick was hurt and UT crossed half court, the white ref looks back and observes nick still laying down. He and pat Adams both knew he was down. It was a hard fall where his head bounced off the floor. Its completely different than a flop.

The basketball was live and all the players where running up and down the court twice in transition so I don't think the refs error'd in judgment. Had all the players stopped they would of blown the play dead then but nobody stopped so they couldn't blow it dead yet. It's just a freak sequence of events that we probably will never see happen again like it did tonight. It is a judgment call. They can stop it whenever they want. Stop saying they could not do this and could not do that. If we miss the dunk and it leads to a fast break other way should refs still not stop play?

Truth is I can totally see why they did not stop it once we regained possession, although that is customary. My issue is just own it and do not come back in a statement and tell me the refs were not aware he was hurt.
