Jimmy Dykes made me sick in his lovefest for all things LSU. They were also talking about other games and players during our game. Once on a Holman 3 in the first half they barely acknowledged it until we were moving back on D. Terrible!

Dykes is the same guy that spent an entire half circling Sidney on the screen for lack of hustle. He's always had a thorn up his ass about State and he's a huge Arkansas fan so I'm sure he doesn't like that Howland took Perry.

Those Arkansas fans kill me on Hogville. EVERY recruiting thread over there has multiple posts stating “Howland paid Perry” and other garbage.

He just about lost his shit last night when Waters got an and 1, even though it was still about an 8 point game after the free throw, and he said something shortly after the half going into a commercial like "we've finally got ourselves a game, partner" even though we had an 11 point lead at that moment.

Haha, Yep. When Lamar made that sick drive to the goal, it was just “Peters drives to the goal.”
But when Waters made that and-one, it was “ Can you believe that... You just expect TREMONT to make that. He’s the best PG in the league, blah blah blah!”

I wish announcers would simply announce the game in front of them instead of anticipating and talking so much about what players have done coming into the game. But on some level you have to do that. And to be fair to them, Waters has definitely been better than Peters this year, and as a freshman.

but if I had my choice I'm going with Peters. Much higher upside, as long as his head is straight. Waters had no clue guarding Lamar but at times Lamar did a good job.The fact that we changed the way we played the high ball screen allowed us to build a lead. That and making a shit-pot load of 3s.

I don't disagree with that. I'm just saying that if you try to look at it without bias, I can see why they came in prepared to talk more about Waters than Peters.

This is why I always listen to the radio. Dam announcers ruined the TV viewing and just made it unbearable to watch.
