Are the LF lofts still part of the building plans. Seems like I read that they were not going to be part of the final construction for some reason.

Are those going to be full apartments, with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.? If I won the lottery, I'd definitely buy one of those.

They are in a holding pattern currently. The price came back way over budget.

Price of steel is probably about to go through the roof.

They will be built, question is....when? Have heard varying reports....anywhere from next year to 5 years out.

The budget was around 5 million and bids came back at 9.

How many units were they going to build?

What was going to be on the first floor? All of the apartments were going to be high enough to see into the stadium, correct?

Four floors of apartments and a rooftop terrace for parties. 9 or 12 units at first.

It'll be worth it though....we'll use bamboo scaffolding in stead**

Yes, likely.

A few years ago, a 4-story hotel was built here with just 2x4 framework just like a house, best I could tell from about a block away (could possibly have been 2x6 but I don't think so; all wood in any case). I don't think there was a piece of structural steel in it.

I didn't know a commercial building like that was allowed.

He plan we sent for bid was 12. We had sold 4 and one was given to the largest donor to the baseball stadium.
