Max is filthy tonight. Seems like the only shot is to hopefully sneak one across by the 7th and get his pitch count up to hopefully come back against the Tiger pen.

Maybe it's because this is the last of 4 games today or that Oakland County Coliseum is mammoth in size and looks 17ing terrible but this game is BORING! The A's DESPERATELY need a new stadium.

Boring?! Watching a master at work for Detroit...Defensive run saving plays by Oakland to keep the game alive... Suspense building for the late inning comeback... Makings of a great playoff game!

It's because it's a 1 hitter at Oakland. If Sherzer was doing this at home it'd be way more exciting. So you've got a dead crowd for both teams while hitting right now.

So they'd become the San Jose A's? No thanks I like them in Oakland. Sweet stadium idea though.

Better financially in San Jose. I'd really like for them to win a WS in Oaktown too. Remember the Dodgers left Brooklyn, it's business.

I've grown up watching and liking the A's in Oakland. I'm a Giants fan but I have a love for Oakland too. It'd be a sad day if Oakland lost a team. I still want the Expos back. I'd MUCH prefer MLB add 2 teams than see any relocate. I really would love 2 teams added in Nashville and New Orleans. Imagine a MLB team 2 blocks from Bourbon street. The South needs another team besides the Braves.

Jones, Bautista and Stanton are locks. Also considering Butler, Seager, Hamilton and Crisp. Hill I won't keep. He gets hurt a ton.

I was thinking position scarcity with Hill. Hamilton sucks. Crisp aint worth a keep. Donaldson is much better than the other two corner guys. He's probably the most lock worthy of them all.

If/when MLB expands, it will probably be to Portland, Oregon. Nashville would be a good place for a MLB team, and I think they would support it. I can't see New Orleans working. All they care about is LSU baseball. The New Orleans Pelicans AAA baseball team used to play at the Superdome. When people go to New Orleans, they don't go to watch baseball.

I think Buffalo, Brooklyn, Indianapolis, Nashville, Charlotte, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Portland Oregon, and Sacramento would be the places I would look at if I was on an expansion committee for MLB.

There's another group coming in with an offer to build in Oakland. Would be great, could take BART easier and Oakland still needs lots of help to keep businesses.

Now lets take them in the 9th.

No batting avg. in this league it's OBP% and SLG%. Butler gets on base a shit ton. Hamilton had a bad year so I'm thinking he'll bounce back. He still had double HR and RBI that Hill had. Seager is almost the same player as Donaldson. Thanks for your input. I can't decide my final 2 spots ha.

Next year I hope we can incorporate wOBA which is the best combo of OBP and SLG. I don't like SLG usage because its not simply worth 1-2-3-4, but it's better than BA.

U seen Seager vs Donaldson on SLG and OBP?

I'd love for MLB to adopt the Barclay's Premier League idea of the bottom teams getting bumped each year for the top ones in a second league. This would allow a bunch of worthy cities imo to have a MLB team and still keep the majors at 30 or 32 teams. So the Astros, Marlins, White Sox and Twins/Cubs would not be in the Majors next year and would get moved down to make room for the top 4 in the second MLB league. Thoughts?
