Meh....when she isn't allowed to foul at will she is good, but not insane crazy good. It will be interesting to see how she does at the next level when she probabaly won't be protected.

I think Vivians is every bit as deserving. She's played in every game, unlike Wilson and been consistent all year long, plus on a better team.

I think Vivians is every bit as deserving. She's played in every game, unlike Wilson and been consistent all year long, plus on a better team.

You can make an argument for Victoria but Wilson lead the SEC in points & blocks plus 2nd in rebounds. She missed 3 games not like she missed half the season.

You may be right. I'd just like to see her have to consistently play with refs that don't look the other way when she fouls. The few times I've seen it happen she is still good, but as I said above, not insane good.

absolutely. One of the best to ever play in the SEC

She had 25/14 with 2 blocks against us and was the best player on the floor that night. She was just outnumbered

And Vivians had 24 & 5 boards and a block in that one. That game was over in the 1st half, if she didn't keep us a float and hanging around. She's hit a game winner at Missouri, a place where Wilson couldn't get it done.

Victoria was at a disadvantage as she is on a team that had more than one star. She hasn't had to do it all unlike Aja. and thats not taking anything away from Aja.

Nobody is saying otherwise. At least I'm not. All I'm saying is Wilson deserved the award just as much as Victoria does.

Jesus dude, just because people can acknowledge the greatness of Wilson, doesn't mean they 1) don't love Tori, think she's awesome, and is one of the best players in the country...or 2) aren't real State fans...

VV is awesome and one of the best players in the country. No doubt about it. She elevated her game this season and has led this team the way we thought she would have last season.

But that doesnt take away from Wilson being the best player in the country and the best in the SEC. It's ok to acknowledge her but still support your team.

I get being a fan. I don't really get duty, though.

I love Tori. She's bad ass. She would be just as deserving to win the award, especially since she's the best player on one of the best two teams (along with UConn) in the country. But it's not like Wilson winning in some travesty. She is very much deserving. It's ok to say that. It doesn't make you a turncoat to acknowledge it.

Who is asking you to apologize? All people said was Wilson winning the award wasn't unexpected, a travesty, or a knock on Tori. Hell, I would've loved it had Tori won, but I understand why she didn't.

Still can't belive their coach said they wouldn't even sleep during money for food in Starkville. Given the girls on that team, that pretty much insured a loss.
