Preacher Matt - Yes and No - Not yet. I am ahead, but am accumulating a little more than 100 votes less than the second place guy, who is 2200 votes behind me, with maybe 35 days of voting left 35 days times 120 votes means he will pass me right at the end of the voting. The third and fourth place recipes may also pass me.

Right now looks good. My hope is that folks get tired of voting for the second - fourth place guys, but they all seem to have many friends who are voting for them at the moment. I hope that stops.

I Am posting this to let you know the status of voting on the Cavit Wine contest.

As you can see, I am doing just fine today with 6325 votes. My lead over place #2 is was 2189 votes yesterday and 2094 today. A few days back my lead was 2500 votes, but if things go OK I will maintain my lead for the remaining 35 days.

The top three voted recipes will be considered for the prize. This morning, the fourth place vote getter passed me (I was in third place, having fallen from first over the past week).

The places are now as follows:

Pastry wrapped pear - 9559
Chicken with pasta - 8861
Gelato desert - 8449
My cannelloni - 8432

I seem to getting about 150 - 200 votes a day
Recipes #1 - 3 are getting 400 - 500 votes a day

Probably over for me. #1 is over 1000 votes lead #3 is getting about 150-200 votes a day more than me.
