Hope Hatcher is becoming Rooker 2.0. It's early and he will have to adjust to how they pitch to him when League play starts. I saw this kid at Perfect Game and he's got a short, fluid swing and makes good contact consistently. He's not gonna strikeout much which helps eliminate prolonged slumps. I think he's gonna be a good one!

If I was Henderson, I'd make some changes to the line up. Move Stovall to 2hole, and move Hatcher to the 3 hole. Vansue stays at clean up. Stovall just doesn't look comfortable at the 3 spot.

These wins are confidence builders. Had some clutch abs and clutch pitching at times. Kids are battling. Hatcher is a stud and Jake some showing leadership.

Well, my pessimists take: 1) Pilk didn't take the next step to be a truly elite Ace, 2) Leibelt isn't nearly good enough to help us in SEC play, 3) Gordon didn't take a step forward. Unless Small is pretty good, the overall staff didn't improve much. Oh and we have no catcher

Optimists take: This team knows how to fight, Hatcher is the man, and Smith will be a good replacement for Price in the closer role

Lord knows I am prone to jumping to conclusions over SSSs, but I think you are too some here. It is very early.

Poole helped get that 9th inning rally going. Huge bunt hit. I like Poole and Alexander, but both have to keep being a little productive with the bat

Yeah they don?t have to carry the team but if they can hit 270ish think we would all take it.
