Al.com reporting Bama is the favorite to land grad transfer QB Garner Minshew, former starting QB at East Carolina. I guess Bama wants him for depth due to the strong possibility of the loser of the QB competition this spring between J Hurts and Tua T transferring out.

It's been widely reported that he wants to be a coach so his plan is to transfer to Bama for his last year, then become a GA under Saban.

If he were to go to Bama (not likely) this is the biggest reason why.

He's one of the most competitve guys I've ever met, he wants to play not sit the bench
