Did he sit out the 2017 season, then enroll at Georgia Military? That isn't a JUCO is it? I thought it was a prep school, so, in that vein, is he going to essentially be a freshman when he shows up in 2019 although old enough to be a junior?

Georgia Military College is a JUCO - but they also have a high school on campus. Richardson will be there as a JUCO.

The school was founded in 1879 and occupies the Georgia Old Capital Building (Milledgeville was capital from 1807-1868). It?s a cool little campus. My grandfather played halfback for GMC in 1940.

I was thinking of North Georgia up in Dahlonega I guess. Not a prep school, but a 4 year military school.

Hopefully this isn?t true. Surely he could get on the field at a JUCO if he has committed to an SEC program

I think he redshirted at Miss Delta. If so, then he'll be a redshirt FR this Fall at GMC. Would have 3 years of eligibility left when arrives at State.

This. MSU coaches requested he RS last year so he'd have 3yrs of eligibility remaining when he got to MSU. It's not something we can do often but at MS Delta we can make those type of request.
