I "think" they are learning to be, but they make so many dumb mistakes. They also try to showboat, once things start going well.

If they can break that type of stuff, they will be really good. They are super talented. Just win...do the little things.

So we not only bitch when we don?t win, but when we win we bitch that we can?t blow teams out...unreal.

I mean, we are legitimately one of the youngest teams in the country. The immaturity you mention isn't surprising and maybe even should have been expected going into this year.

I know we've been hearing it for too long now, but next year should finally be "the year." We'll be returning a talented backcourt that's gelling as we approach the end of this season, a star in the making at the 5, and a handful of strong role players, and adding to that an elite stretch 4, among other talented players. If we just get our shooting touch all the way back, next year will be one hell of a team.

I really thought we would avoid a thread like this tonight.

Good lord, you snowflakes...relax.

I'm a huge fan and rooting for them. I think they aree getting there, they just have to cut down on some things.

Ole Miss SUCKS. I'm glad we won, we played well, but they are terrible.

I will say that lack of maturity is the primary reason we only have one road win on the year. To win on the road, even against mediocre teams (like Vandy), takes talent AND maturity. Its no accident that the road warrior team of 2004 was also the most mature team we've ever had, not only in age but in behavior.

We have a unique team and are very talented. If we can just get in the NCAA, I think we could do something.

It's almost there...just mistakes due to lack of maturity have killed us.

The humor bar is low.

This didn’t look like a sarcastic thread chewgumm. I think you sincerely believe this. Would I have liked to have seen us blow them out by 20+? Sure. Will I take blowing them out by 17 and getting walk-ons in at the end of the game? Absolutely. It’s hard for any team to maintain focus for a full 40 minutes when you spend most to all of the game hovering between a 17-22 point lead. The most important thing to note is that for every run Ole Miss had we answered with a run of our own so in that context we were a more mature team to take a team’s big run and answer.
