Not counting any kind of run in the sec tourney, we need to go 5-1. And really need to save the 1 for at Aggie next week.

Defend the three ball and run them off the 3 point line. They?ll prob take 30 threes tonight.

Shut down Lachance and Lee and you stop Vandy. Must win game as they all are here on out. We are officially in tournament mindset or need to be. Just win and advance.

Um Roberson is their main scoring threat. He's legit.

Beating Vandy up there is a chore, no matter the relative strengths of the teams.

A&M is down to 8 scholarship players I think. They are good down low, they are really thin at guard right now. Seems like we would want to put pressure on the ball, to make their guards beat us. Not saying A&M is not better than Vandy, but they are not that great right now if we play like we are capable.

Have to run Roberson and lachance off 3 pt line. They are both shooting 40% from deep and both avg taking about 5 a game. Fisher-Davis can be streaky out there too.

Kill them on the glass. They are even in rebounding margin on the year. No second chances for them, lots of put backs for us.

As of right now we are projected as the 7th team out from making the tournament which would put us roughly as a two seed in the NIT.

bottom line- a team hungry to make the NCAA Tourney wins both of these games this week.

Uninformed opinion. We are 3 point dogs for a reason. Go look at what vandy has done at home last 6 weeks.

Whats their record

At home and lately (which is all that matters right now) 3-0. Their only two losses at home since New Years are tn and ky, two top 20 RPI teams.

You just don?t understand college basketball. St. John, winless in conference play, just beat duke and Villanova at home in a four day span.

Half this ****ing board doesn’t understand college basketball
Vandy probably has the #1 SOS in the country . Go ask TCU if it’s a easy road game .

Bottom line we didn’t do what we needed to to win in either of the last two games. We didn’t do the things we did when we played these two teams at home. We lost this game tonight when we just completely let up after going up 22-14. Once we got up by that much in the first half, we relaxed and allowed Vandy to outscore us 26-9 to finish the half. On this road trip we played maybe 16 minutes of 45 minutes in the last two games. We came back because we are more talented then both of those teams we played and even then we came back just enough to allow last second officiating calls to screw us for the two losses. Things should get better as we play a dead man walking Ole Miss team. That should be a feel good win and then we go back on the road Tuesday to play a reeling A&M team. I think 4-1 is doable down the stretch and think we will learn from these two losses.

They’re a different team at Memorial Coliseum. It wouldn’t surprise me if they beat Florida on Saturday.
