So OM and AK are expected to part ways at the end of the season. I don?t know if OM can get a better coach right now. It?ll be interesting to see who decides to take the job.

Running a hooker ring to entice croots? Pitino would fit perfectly at Northern Miss. The better question is why WOULDN'T they hire him? That said, no way in hell Pitino is going to UNM. They aren't going to hire better than what they have now.

Not sure why Pitino wouldn't go to Ole Miss. He doesn't have a show cause and his name has been tarnished so this is a way for him to redeem some of it back. Would be a phenomenal hire for them but Pitino is an Adidas guy so wonder if Nike would be alright with it.

That’s one to watch. Although I’m not sure they want to bring in a guy that the NCAA would be back on campus with from day one.

I'm convinced Pitino is a made man in the mob and is untouchable. If he didn't get a show cause this last time the NCAA is never going to give him one.

We're talking about Ross Bjork here...he's shown he doesn't care about NCAA baggage in the past especially at Western Kentucky.

Pitino isn’t going to Umiss. 65 years old an not going somewhere he can’t win big right away. And I don’t even think Umiss is that dumb to basically invite the NCAA back over there again
They better not miss with this hire. Sec is too good and going to be even better next few years. A bad hire and you get left way behind.

LOL, you might be right. I still don?t think UM wants somebody with a very public hooker connection being attached to them right now. That would be the highest profile hire they have ever made for in any sport.
