Will it by Brennan? Just paid attention to the fact they signed 2 5* WRs that are top 5 in the country. If they can get decent qb play, that game could be much tougher than we anticipate

Getting some worrying in early? Solid work.

So no worries? We roll LSU?

I was just interested in how their qb battle was expected to play out

They have had 5 and 4 Star receivers every time we play them. When they get a QB that is worth a shit then I will worry. We got the better end of the QB deal in the 2017 signing class and I feel real good about the three 4 star WR we just signed.

Maybe it will be a better offense, but this is the team that had OBJ and Jarvis Landry on the field at the same time and couldn't get them the ball.

It’ll be irrelevant. Our pass rush this year won’t give them time to throw anyway.

I think this should be the case myself. I do think we could have trouble with elite WRs again though

I remember them getting the ball plenty against us. The one game they made play after play against good coverage

I don't think he will be given the job. It will be a battle with Lowell Narcisse.

LN is actually the one I am worried about. Before he blew his knee out, he was highly thought of

Brennan doesn’t fit what they want to do.

He fits a spread offense that slings it all over the place. Coach O is going to do Coach O things and win about 7 games next year, we beat them by 10+.

If they are relying on Freshman WR’s to beat us.....we will win by 4 TD’s.

Problem is Narcisse is a true dual threat read option QB. So Brennan still is probably the best fit.

I’m not sure they win 7. Their schedule is insane

Yeah, that schedule is brutal. Plus, no QB worth a shit and an OC that's stuck in the 80's. Recipe for total disaster.

Like Tyron Johnson and Malachi Dupre?

They always have big-time talent at WR, but it often hasn't really panned out, especially not as true freshmen.

Don't be rational on this board, you'll be accused of being negative or a rebel

If I had to bet the game today, I would take state. I just do not like the fact they have elite talent at wr and at home vs us. It has been 27 years since we won 2 in a row vs LSU, so I do not take them for granted

They had elite talent at WR last year.

When was the last time they didnt have elite talent at WR?

They play Florida and Georgia the two weeks before us- and we get the week off to get healthy and ready. Never easy to win at LSU- but we are going to.

These elite WRs also have to change offensive schemes next year. A so-so QB learning a new scheme from a dinosaur OC going up against one of the best defensive fronts in the SEC. Yeah, I'm taking State all day long.

not to mention an almost totally new o-line and Guice is gone with no real replacement. They will be forced to be one dimensional with a weak armed undersized QB.
