I don’t know what the steps are but someone needs to take this to the SEC. that was horrendous

officiating is horrendous. Ive never seen so many officials that feel like they always have to make some kind of call

Yep. There needs to be a consequence for flopping. Something.

Officiating was bad and I hate that we came up short at the end but I was pretty damn entertained at the end of this game. That comeback was miraculous even though we lost.

A flop is called because the ref is anticipating the call...which is what happened on the Holman charge. Or if the ref doesn't see the actual foul but reacts to the flopper...the Peters call. A ref that stays in the moment and only calls fouls he sees won't make the mistakes that the bald ass clown made at the end.

Call a tech if it's caught in the game. If it was blatent and wasn't caught in the game, take the approach the Premier League has taken in soccer and suspend them for the next game.

Yep. Wish every ref was evaluated every game with that rating published. Maybe a site could start doing that... it would get a ton of hits and really put pressure on conferences to get rid of clown officials

Refs have no accountability to anyone, in the real world if your bad at your job you are let go. These guys are making good money to be incompetent.

Just let the flop, occur and don't call shit. How hard is that. The Refs took 5 point off the board--no wonder we lost. When Jimmy ****head Dykes says there was minimal contact and the guy sold it, what does that tell you? I put it in slo -mo and watched fame by frame , it was very minimal contact and none to get open and shoot.

The best thing that happened was that X fouled out

Maybe a call like the one against Peters at the end should be reviewed, maybe even with the assistance of "Birmingham". What happened should not be allowed.

The Mizzou guy was laughing his ass off that he got the call. Even he knew how bad it was.

The only part on the man Holman might have touched was stepped into after Holman was in the air.

Pertaining to the Holman charge... does the defender only have to be set with the lower half or both lower and upper? If upper has to be set, that was clearly blocking or no call

I haven't seen an angle yet that shows there was any contact whatsoever. So it was an easy no call.

Lower has to be set, upper has to be stationary. You can?t be set and lean with you upper body. That?s a block.

Then it was a block. He moved upper body clearly

I’m still looking for the contact. On every replay I’ve seen, Holman’s body language reveals no clue of contact while in the air. If Holman really hit him as hard as that guy flopped, you would have seen some body movement from Holman, especially in flight.

Holman went around the guy. That’s almost as bad as the call on Peters. Neither of them touched a Mizzou player.
This was the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Just awful!

I still can’t believe he called that on Peters. To me that call should have been a firable offense period. SEC should do away with some of these shitty officials we have accumulated. I don’t even think Ted Valentine would have called that one. The SEC Network guys were even shocked it was called. Shocked. I haven’t seen anyone sans Missouri fans defending that call and even most of them say it was bad.

A long time ago when I refed (HS) you had to be totally still.

The problem is we have too many refs these days that wanna be the big shot on the floor. They forget that they are only there to regulate the game. They want to put their stamp on it. We have a bunch of Barney Fife?s in the SEC officiating group. There?s not one thing that can be done either. They?re basically untouchable.

Not only that but Holman went to the side of him. I have always thought charges had to be straight on.

It's amazing how clean and presumably sterile that place is, for no real reason.

Hockey has a penalty against flops. It?s called diving.

https://youtu.be/a4nWylGwvn4

Basketball should penalize that too but I don?t think these WWE refs are capable.
