The Lovett situation got me thinking, this is nothing against Lovett hope we sign him and he wins the Heisman, nothing against any other kid that doesnt sign on NSD......but

What is the purpose of setting a date, having dead periods, hyping it up if the kid can just decide he wants to sign even later? Someone explain

I believe there is a deadline too. It's just that NSD is one of the two days that they can officially sign.

In this situation, a kid shouldn't be allowed to wait beyond NSD. Sign by that date, or you have to walk on, and re-earn a full ride.

Someone on twitter said they knew a family of a top 100 recruit for 2019. He stated that UM has cranked right back up to 100% even under probation. It seems that NCAA investigation was viewed as a speed bump.

Ole Miss knows how to play he game when it comes to recruiting. You think all those top five classes were because of Freeze, then your a fool. Put a bunch of pretty girls around a guy, make him feel like a million bucks and don't think money isn't being spread around, don't think the net work has been disbanded and don't think those disassociated boosters have gone away. What's a kid suppose to think? Money, ***** and king of the day goes a long way with a 18 year old. They may not be doing it at the same level they were or they just got a little more tight lips about it but it is still going on and don't be a fool to think it's not.

At this point as light as the NCAA was on them, they probably feel like Teflon.

Why does usc only have 14 signees? They are over .93 per recruit (3rd in country), but very few signees
