One of my favorite State games ever was waxing his ass on Thursday night on ESPN. That was an incredibly drunken night in the student section.

I loved that game, only down side was losing Sleepy. I think that team would've won 9-10 games and probably beat bama with Sleepy.

I was there. Cold isn't the word for it, but Langham and his pick 6 warmed things up.

I won $10 ftom my UF boss while living in Memphis. I think we derailed his heisman run that night. We were up his ass all night.

I was across from the student sec in sec F. The students had a great sign up "Shane Pull Up Your Socks". Yeah Sleepy getting hurt sucked. As soon as he went sown everybody knew he tore up his knee.

I enjoyed 1992 Florida more than I enjoyed 2000 Florida. 2010 Florida in the Swamp should be more memorable than it is too.

Federal prison or, as they called it in Office Space, “**** me in the ass” prison?

Yeah it was kinda weird. It was awesome beating uf on National tv but I knew losing sleepy would hurt us offensively and it did.

I agree on 2010, that game kinda gets overlooked but it was big beating them in the swamp

That show and that line was hilarious. Thanks for the reminder.

If MSU had not derailed his stats long ago, he would join OJ Simpson as a Heisman to Prison story

My first state game. My family had just moved to Birmingham from Chattanooga so we were close to Starkville. I was 8

They had another sign on banner paper hanging on the concrete barrier in front of the bottom row. I don't know how long the sign was up but it got pulled down before halftime. It read:

I was hammered. I threw dog biscuits at him and the entire gata team all night. Ahhhhh, the good old days!!!! That game was epic for our program.

I had a longtime Gator buddy fly up w/ friends of his, met them at airport, loaned his buddies a car, and he stayed with me. His buddies had one of those magnetic signs they put on the Tahoe, didn't like it very much, but they were company. They were very condensing toward our campus and stadium, not really ugly but could tell what they were thinking. My buddy sat between my wife and I , and she and I were doing high 5's over him, and he just took it like a gentleman. Next morning the magnetic sign was off the Tahoe and they were just in a hurry to get back home.

I was in the student section that TH night and remember vividly chanting "There goes the Heisman" as Shane threw yet another interception.

The "SHANE, COME BACK, SHANE" game. Great times.

Shane and I had one thing in common when we played football...... we neither wore socks, just tape. I did that in Basketball also. Would have in baseball but couldn't throw a strike with taped ankles, messed up my push off.

Still say had we had Sleepy that whole year, we win the SEC.

Juan Long, Keith Joesph and Derrick Cagins (sp?) were absolutely beasts that day on defense. We had some damn good players during the Sherrill Era.
