4 of the top 5 teams in SEC, with 3 of those being away games. @FL was only blowout. Losing to OM at home sucked tho.

We do look ugly at times, but that really ain't too shabby for this team in Howland's 3rd year. Just sayin.

Not to mention bama beat #12 Oklahoma today, UK just beat #7 West Virginia on the road.

I think everyone would feel better if we would have won that ole miss game. That was a terrible, terrible loss

If we hold 1 of our 2nd half double digit leads vs om or auburn or complete that come back vs bama, we are a bubble team right now

We lost in Oxford. We still have OM at home

3-1 in the SEC at home. We are headed for the NIT this season

Revenge games against bama and om at home are huge.

If we had beaten two of those we would be in the group getting in tournament. We will most likely be in the top 8 Lunardi now.

That depends on if you enjoy watching good defense. A double digit win and 9 assists from our PG whose been struggling looked pretty to me. You prefer watching Stansbury clapping and Noah, Josiah and Luke leading our team onto the court tho.

Another year or so we may be watching a team that plays ball like the gals do. Love watching the gals play.

The goalposts have moved now. Its not that we lost to them on the road, its how we looked while losing to them on the road.

The way the Little12 challenge played out today makes our losses look much better and our RPI should jump up after this win.

I enjoy watching winning and decent half court offense. Defense is a pre-requisite.

I love watching good defense. Stansbury was the Queen at allowing the RAT to drop 35 on us so I can see why you are blind to watching good defense.

Why are you so obcessed with Stansbury? He has been gone for six years. Why so defensive?

Dude, you can't see the whole for the end. Some of Stans's teams were a joy to watch. That remark shows how little you actually know about MSU basketball. How old are you?

The loss would have been easier to deal with if we hadn't had the 11 point lead midway through the second half only to get beaten by a 1-3-1 zone that we looked totally unprepared to deal with. That is what made it as bad as it was. And anyone who plays OM knows you are going to have to play against that stretch zone during the key parts of the game so there was no excuse not being read for it. Its AK's staple defense.

After our win we jumped up to 70. That?s not bad, especially considering we are going to have plenty of opportunities to improve it. SEC is definitely up this year and it?s going to be interesting to see how we navigate it. I think this team against the last 2 years of SEC competition would have been guaranteed to get to 20 wins. This year the conference from top to bottom is tough sledding.
