Yep, too many fans WAY too down on this program and coach. I really do not know if Howland is the A+ on the court coach he used to be anymore, guess I'm just not that much of a basketball expert to judge that part. BUT, there is no coach in America we could hire today that could recruit any better than what Howland is doing at the moment given our general lack of fan support for basketball.

The team played great tonight. I?ve been impatient at times but I really do think we are turning the corner. Making the NIT would be huge this year. It will give us extra practices and some confidence going into next season.

Howland gets the end of the year to show me what he can do- and so far I've seen some progress. All I want at this point is to beat Ole Miss in Starkville and make the NIT. Based on where we are right now- I think that's doable. If he doesn't do it- I want him to find a good offensive assistant that can teach shooting better than what we've been getting.

I think Nick and Ado have bright futures ahead of them and I like the class that Howland is bringing in- Perry can be an immediate impact guy next year and I like Woodward and DJ Stewart too.
