I?ll be pulling for Alabama tonight

For years I have hated them. I grew up 60 miles from there and 25 from Starkville. State/Bama has been a rivalry to me and 81, 91, 92,94 and 99 games did nothing but fuel my hatred as they knocked us out of contention for some type of SEC championship in each of those games.

However my dislike for them, no matter how deep, has never done anything to stop their program. As matter of fact it doesn?t matter if i pull for them tonight or hate them. What will be, will be. However I?ve been on the losing side to many times watching them play. I know their program to well. I have relatives with degrees from Bama. I?ve attended probably 8-10 games at BDS. Which is far more than most folks that are fans of them.

Good luck Alabama. I?ll be a fan every week but one.

State ran the ball on Bama. UGA surely can. Bama has been in this game many times. That’s an advantage. I like Saban to out duel Smart. Bamas defense will get after Fromm.

I believe Bama had some pretty key injuries in that game as well that no doubt helped us run like we did. I think it'll be close and low scoring but Bama wins.

I quit rooting for them as my #2 team after an incident during the Croom era with my drunken brother in law after a loss in Athens. I wish they would cancel tonight?s game and officially award the championship to UCF. The UCF fans are insufferable but there really aren?t that many of them so they should be easy to ignore.
Cancelling the game would destroy Wal-Mart?s first quarter, though, so it probably wouldn?t be allowed.
