Even after he forgot to sabotage the bowl game on the way out the door.**

Prediction? Pain.

The article also says that Mullen hired Sunseri to his staff.

On our assistant coaching front, I saw that Memphis officially announced (http://www.localmemphis.com/news/local-news/memphis-tigers-announce-departure-of-two-assistant-football-coaches/899453508) that Marcus Woodson left the staff to "pursue other opportunities." I've seen reports that he's been talking to State as well as other SEC schools. Anyone know whether Moorhead landed on him, or if we're keeping Buckley instead?

I think Knox did an outstanding job with bowl game and handled everything with great class. But I'll take Huff over Knox to coach RBs any day of the week. Plus, Huff is an elite recruiter.

Seems like Moorhead wanted Woodson but the LandSharts are laying the guilt trip on him. Didn't seem to happen to Marcus Johnson so maybe I'm wrong

Moorhead prob called TBuck and asked him back.

Don't care I dont want him anyway. Can you imagine us hiring him and he gets players to commit and then OM hires him away 2 weeks before signing day and all of them flip. They already flipping enough as it is, we don't need to give them even more reasons too.

Something is weird going on with Lukubu. I'm starting to think he's not the guy.

Rumor is Lekabu is concerned about moving to MS. I don't get that if he went to school at Colgate. Hamilton, NY is a freaking cold hole in the middle of nowhere.

Lubuku may have some personal issues that he's concerned about moving to Mississippi, not that he should. On the other hand, his resume is a series of very short tenures.

I will always be grateful to Coach Gregg Knox for the effort and heartfelt emotion that he put into the Taxslayer bowl! It was clearly evident how much the players loved him and how much he loved the players. It was also on exhibit at the end of the game how proud he was to represent Mississippi State University, for this I will always hold him in the highest regard.

I second that word for word. Now I wish we could have gotten to know him a little better than we did. He was always one that seemed to be in the background. But I suppose you get that with assistants instead of coordinators. In this case however, the way Mullen was portrayed as not being personable and all, maybe we should have put Knox in the forefront a little more than we did. He represented us well this past week.
