When you factor in juniors leaving, Georgia and Bama will lose a ton this year.

Bammer's gonna lose about 17 starters/heavy contributors...

Saban has proven over and over again he can plug in new guys and keep rolling. Smart has recruited outstanding, but I wanna see how he handles taking a gut shot to his roster.

Mark Richt left Kirby a helluva team.

While this is true, from MSU's perspective, we have the talent to actually go to Tuscaloosa and beat a newer roster in 2018.

On Georgia, I'm guessing those 30 5 star players Smart is signing will work out just fine for him. Last year too.

another way to look at this is that the teams with the most seniors won their games as well.

Yea but Richt doesn't get to CFP with this team. Kirby is making it better too. Richt recruited well but never as well as Kirby is right now.

Kirby stepped up the defense big time. I agree Richt would have missed out, but smart does not make it this year without Richt though

No argument. Talent was there but culture needed tightening up some IMO. Kirby stepped into more talent than JoMo is stepping into, but culture JoMo is stepping into is better.

The problem with us and Bama has always been we've played them in Nov. Even when their roster has been depleted, by the time Nov. rolls around those young players have grown up. Likewise, the shitbirds have always caught them in Sept. right before they've broken in a new QB or given others time to grow up.

So anyone know what will our roster look like next year as far as breaking down by classification?

According to the 2017 roster, we will have 32 seniors next year. That?s A LOT.

I think that is correct
