Just a beneficiary of the program itself? Wisconsin seems the same with whomever is coaching them. Arkansas? choice of Head coaches continues to be head scratching.

Same thing is going to happen to MSU. We are going to keep winning and keep going to Bowl Games and our time is gonna come for some BIG TIME games in the future!!

Yep. We're going to be the Wisconsin of the SEC. And I'll take that.

They’re on the good side of their conference. We aren’t.

That can change. See the 1990's. I think it's going to be a little more equal with Georgia emerging and South Carolina improving. We'll see what Pruitt and Dan do- but they will probably get those teams in the 8 win range if not better. Kentucky and Mizzou were bowl teams too.

Saban is starting to get old and Auburn is bipolar. LSU has Orgeron who is not great as a head coach. A&M should be a little bit better. I'm not sold on Arkansas with Morris becasue they hired Chavis.

Ole Miss has to cheat to be relevant and Vandy sucks- but not as much as when I was a kid.

Bert helped build what they are now.

I Said helped. If Bert had failed there then they aren't this good.

But Burt?s success was more program related than his own.

Barry Alvarez is the reason for Wisconsin's success the last two decades. They have been a top 15 maybe top 10 winning program for twenty years now. We'd be extremely lucky to be called the "Wisconsin of the SEC" as that would put us 2nd or 3rd in the SEC. Look it up. Wisconsin has won a shit ton of football games since 1998.

Top 10-12 program and a composite recruiting ranking of 38. Excellent culture.

Bert may have maintained, but he didn't build shit. That would be Alvarez

Wisconsin wins because of their OL/DL recruiting... they come down south to get a lot of their speed positions.

Bert is Barry Alvarez’s Danny Wuerffel.
