Peters is playing a little better but from my seat we are playing ok defense. USM is getting good looks most of the time, they just suck.

Peters, Carter and N spoon both really push the ball when they shoot. Not sure how that gets fixed in time for it to matter this year.

My eyes continue to tell me we will be lucky to be a NIT team

Listening on the radio and this seems to be more prevalent than previous games. Ado needs to get bigger and stronger though to be able to get the ball up to the rim.

When Howland was his best at Pitt and Northern Arizona he had Jamie Dixon as his top assistant. We need to spend some dough and get some elite assistants that can coach up our players.

Coach is right and its not even close. I like Nick and q but Peters needs to be our starting PG. He creates shots and can turn a 5 point lead into 12 in a blink of an eye

You don't have to be the best at one skill to be the best overall. Nick and Ado are the reason our defense is much much better this year.

That's not true. Carter has a very high ceiling so does Peters. Ado will be a great player before he leaves here. Holman is much improved and is a good college player. Q has over 1,000 points and he's just a junior. We have talent. It's on Howland to maximize it.

I hear you. I agree , if the real LAMAR stands up, he is the best pg. the 0-11 LAMAR needs to vanish. He needs to let the game come to Him. But, it's seems to me you are under valuing Nick. He will be fine in SEC play. We just need for our big men to play like big men, then our back court will look better. 11-1 to me is impressive. Don't care if it is against the Little Sisters of the Poor. Let's win 10 more games and we will at least play in the NIT.

Funny, I have a background coaching basketball experience, sometimes you get teams that just can't score, so you have to do play defense, rebound and don't turn the ball over. As any Coach knows, you can't get frustrated or show frustration with your team, but you must encourage and demand the other three things!

I'm not one to say much about basketball like I do for football and baseball which is my favorite college sport. The real season starts in Sec play, I hope we keep winning ugly if need be, we shall see if we play to the level of competition now.
