There is a fairly good chance of rain for Saturday. NWS has a 60% chance all day on Saturday. Not looking good for tailgating or the game. I'll try to update for the rest of the week. Sadly, most of the stuff that normally would be sent out over Twitter publicly and other social media by NWS and others are not able to do so just because of the shutdown. I'm definitely having to use every little site to get my information.

The hell we don't need rain. A nice wet field helps our chances of winning dramatically

I sorta agree, but then I remember lsu blasting auburn in the rain. Auburn did much better against em when it quit.

Some of the models are saying that we MAY hold off on the rain until around midnight on Saturday night. This is going to be all about the timing. I think we will get rained on through during the game, just saying.

The GFS looks like the rain holds off till after the game, the Euro looks WET.

The problem is, looking at the models isn't exactly a good thing at the moment. We're too far out to really get a good look at what will happen. EVERYONE is not sure about when the rain will come. Thursday will open the window for what we can expect for Saturday. Looking at the preliminary outlooks, I still say we will have rain on Saturday. Grass lots will most likely be closed on Saturday (Sorry, folks).

Our field doesn't get wet anymore. I'll be shocked if we see rain play a factor with field conditions ever again...

It got a brand new playing surface(sand based) and drainage system in 2012. It can accommodate several inches/hour without even getting very slick...
