Usually coaches are vague if they don't know for sure. Moorhead was pretty sure he wants Spivey at TE..at least to start.

Not really, he's pretty much always 3 wide, 1 TE, 1 RB. He said on the radio today, he will always have 3 receivers on the field. I guess that doesn't mean a TE couldnt lineup out wide. Especially since we now have 8 scholarship TE's on the roster. That's right, I said 8. About as many olinemen as we have.

Spivey was one of my favorites in this class. Kid has high upside. Big, athletic and can run.

6-6 beast. He could see the field quick. I know we’re loaded at TE but it’s hard to keep a 6-6 guy with speed size and great hands sitting on the sidelines.

Gardner is not n option on other side. He's a pure inside flex te. Won't be a star. The other two have lots of upside and flexibility

I have no inside knowledge, but I would guess one or more of the other three TE's not named Green or Johnson will be encouraged to move on to find playing time elsewhere if they don't make a significant move up the depth chart this spring.

He will probably blow up the combine and end up in the 3rd round to someone like the Raiders who love combine warriors. He has the physical talent if he gets the chance to be used properly. Mullen had no clue how to throw to him unless he put him on the outside.
