Yep. The crazy QB and WR were the only thing that bumped their rankings at all. Not a good class at all for them.

It's certainly uncomfortable, but I don't think we can say this yet. Logically, I agree, but, with this being the first year of the new signing date, we'll have to see how it plays out.

Johnson will sign today, that leaves 4 spots open.

So now your down to 3 or 4. they can't take a chance holding those til signing day Feb. They are gonna have to open it up to more kids.

I bet the staff has told Mason and Lovett if they don't sign early, they can't promise them a spot in Feb.

In fact they'd be insane to. Better to bring in other guys for visits and cover their asses. Can't be held hostage just so OM can beat off over another flip on signing day.

Their class is a home run considering what they would have been expecting two months ago. I'm guessing they weren't throwing a bunch of money around this fall when they expected the sanctions to be heavy enough to scare off anybody good. Now as long as they don't mind risking repeat violator status (which, why would they with the slap on the wrist they got?), they are basically done with sanctions. They may not get back into top 15 classes, but they'll be back competing to be at the top of the second tier of recruiting classes in the SEC.
