Is there not as many 5 Stars as usual this year?

There are a lot of schools who signed multiple 5 Stars every year who don't have any now signed or committed.

To add to this there is not an SEC school with a 5 Star. When was last time that happened?

Not as many 4 stars either it seems. These recruiting services are all over the place now with their rankings. I get a hunch that they know don't what they're doing.

It's my understanding that it's usually a (mostly) "fixed" number (around 25)..... and I believe the 5* of today holds out longer than they used to...
