Saban just hired him to replace Pruitt as the 10th on field coach. It doesn?t specify what he?ll coach but it?s an interesting hire to me. Is this a guy we need to keep an eye on in the future? Apparently OM was going to try and hire him before Saban called.

Absolutely we need to keep an eye on him in the future. If he is at Alabama and replacing Pruitt my guess is he will be their DC....which could lead to a head coaching job in the near future for him.

Talked to one of Pete?s good friends from Cleveland and he said that saban brought him to his house to interview for just an assistant position. Pete?s agent called him later that night and asked him ?what in the world did you do in your interview? Saban wants to make you DC.? They weren?t interviewing for that job but apparently he blew Saban away.
