If he has always loved Michigan and all his family is there why did he not initially sign with Michigan? It's a simple question but no one will ask it.

This just shows how good of a recruiter Freeze was. The biggest hit of this whole NCAA deal for them was losing Freeze, and the NCAA didn't even do it. Their own arrogance did.

Freeze couldn't do crap on bigtime recruiting without the Network's help. It was also a package deal. Agree to hire Shea's brother away from LSU, and Shea would go to OM, and you should know the rest of the "Network" story.
