Is going to try an attempt at making a comeback per MLBrumors.com.

He's 53 now.

Don't see it happening...

With all of the ridiculous sports headlines over the past days, this has got to take the cake for me. There is 0 chance that:

A. He could play at an MLB level at 53 after being in retirement for 12 years
B. Anyone would want him

He’s just trying to reset his Hall Of Fame clock.

FWIW, I wouldn’t bet shocked if he could still hit enough to be a pinch hitter off the bench for an AL team. Raffy was a rhythm hitter with easy actions. That ages well.

My biggest concern would be his eye sight at his age.

A. Maybe as a pinch hitter. His style of hitting ages well. Eye sight may be an issue
B. Rangers, Baltimore, or KC may do it in Spring Training to boost attendance and see how it goes
