Austin and Gibson both were in the same roll and Peterson was going to have a chance to move to the field. They also said that the Don Brown for DC deal was not over yet. Who knows. Just something someone told me.

I think rumors like this should be deleted from the board. Recruiting with half a staff right now is hard enough, rumors like this can spread to recruits. I'm not a mod, but I would delete.

ESPN just had an article on the front page about possible NFL head coaches. Harbaugh was around 3rd on the list. Maybe this is why we haven't announced a DC yet?

What you think about Shoop? Appears like he did a good job at vandy and psu and I think ut was just a total trainwreck so can't gleen to much from that. I just really don't know a lot about shoop to like or dislike. Anybody got some insight on him and his defense?

Runs a 4-3 over, 1 gap with a Hybrid LB/S as his base on early downs. Against a Pro set more traditional 4-3 personnel group.

No. His nickel package is more like the 4-2-5. The hybrid Star LB is in case a team goes 3 wide on early downs and he would have the slot guy with zone behind. And he is a 1 gap guy like Grantham, so that part wouldn't be hard to transition. Also, because of one gap he likes more athletic faster DL.

Moorhead said in the press conference he liked multiple so he isn't going to married to 4-3 vs 3-4. Everybody should have picked up then that if Grantham left it was very possible it would happen. Find the right coach that fits his program and can coach!!
