Is he a decent DC these days? It seems as though he got torched at aTm but was that him or was that Sumlin interfering? Would he be a good fit here at MSU?

aTm gave up like 35 points a game to FBS teams this year. Do not want John Chavis.

Remember the defense that choked a 44-10 lead vs UCLA late in the 3rd quarter? That's Chavis. Do not want.

My LSU friend said he was glad to see him go. Chavis is a huge fan of the prevent. How LSU played D in the last few moments of the AU game is how to do it.

Really Clark?

Yeah 5 straight years of great to Elite defenses for Shoop in the SEC and Big 10 means he sucks because he coached a dumpster fire at Tenn for 2 years that had no offense

DC's in the SEC West are going to earn their money next season.

Game-planning vs Chad Morris and all his trick plays
Gus and his window dressing
Saban and the screens, rubs and power run game
Canada and all that motioning silly shit
A&M with Jimbo
and of course, JoeMo playing chess

and then whatever Mat Luke is gonna do...nevermind

Chavis hasn't been great since the first few years of his time with LSU.

Not that he is high on my list but his defense was 21st and 4th nationally his last 2 years at LSU.
