I graduated from State in 2013, I love the my Alma Matre, but seriously, why is this such a great hire? He has one successful year in a P5 conference and suddenly he is Offense Jesus? I mean he may be a great guy, but he couldn't even get me excited to burn TSUN to the ground. No Charisma.

He is widely considered to be one of the best OC's in the country- and won as a HC in 1-AA.

Penn State was 100th in scoring O when he got the job. He improved them to 21st in year 1 and #7 in Year 2.

He was at Penn State 2 years. In 2016 he was named the national offensive coordinator of the year. Sports Illustrated recently named him the no. 1 rising assistant in college football.
UCONN sucked, he took over the offense and they were good, he left and they sucked again.
He took over a Fordham team that went 1-10, he proceeded to go 38-13 his 4 years there.
