Patterson over 80 catches while Heath has about 20. Patterson might can be a shot in the arm next year. He didn't drop a ball.

Has 13 catches for over 100 yards.

I told everyone in the recruiting thread how good he is. Several people disagreed.

He will be a shot in the arm at Hinds. He isn't getting in.

Yes. I can't help it that Heath plays at a school with no QB.

Patterson is very good. He's no Heath though... heath is special. Like All-SEC first year kind of special.

Heath has a lot of raw talent, but coming from that offense he has been in, he's got a lot to learn about route running and making sight reads.

I've seen him play twice. And both times I was blown away. I've seen Patterson three times. I've seen Guidry once. Guidry is the least talented of the 3.

I've seen him in person. Paul Jones thinks he will redshirt. I tend to think he will play due to our extreme weakness at the position.

Hes got SEC speed but Im not sold on the rest. All he caught tonight and pretty much all he has caught all year is quick game

Pure talent I think Guidry is 1.

Who cares? If there is one thing we are lacking at WR it's a dude that can catch a short pass and house it from any where.

I think our 2 guys (mixon and dear) that can do that were hurt pretty much all year. I think these 2 give us some explosion next season... hopefully

Patterson will be better at first just because he has received better coaching.

Its going to be interesting to see how JoMo does teaching MS hs receivers to read defenses and the route trees. Just Saying

That what I mean. We need football players that make football plays. If you are a SEC big time player and you are an elite HS talent you do more that Heath did this year. Noxubee shut him down in a Jamboree. Hope I'm wrong but a SEC talent sticks out like a sore thumb, Heath was invisible.

Noxubee has A JR. Pruitt who can score from anywhere. 4.35 speed great hands. Scored 5 tds in a half in a playoff game. And he has done it against the Big Boys.

Yes WR help is for sure coming, and once Whop gets on board even more special group.
But with CJM style of play we may actually see that we weren’t as bad as WR as we seemed.

Believe me, JRed can catch more than screen passes. They just use him like that because of his quickness

Agree, other than just throwing to him deep, he doesn't score much.

1 in 22 years.

Only 3 coaches have left their job in the sec to go anywhere wo being fired, franklin, kiffen, and Mullen. There has never been a rule. Tried telling you.

Im not saying hes not a good player, hes got speed but other than the fade down the sideline all they throw him is key screens and bubbles. Give it to him on a jet sweep, I've coached against them for a while now. JRed will disappear some against good defenses. They also will put him in to pass rush at DE. Im not saying the kid cant play but hes going JUCO anyway

I wouldn?t say JRed disappears, the kid had 73 receptions this year and I don?t know how many rushing yards. I think it?s just that JRed is the 3rd best player on Pearls offense imo. Tylan Knight and Dylan Kelly are both better but won?t get any college looks because of there height, which is sad, both of them are ultra talented.
