I agree. The mentality that they displayed at the egg bowl is the same mentality it takes to be a cheating bunch of bitches. Count me out.
Hopefully everyone's animosity that has been displayed today can be transferred into helping MSU build the correct way for the future.
If we had this passion filling every seat of every sporting event, it would take care of itself.

This. I would be deeply ashamed if we stooped to those levels.

They are paying a price and its not a price we should be willing to pay. What campionship did they win? When were they ranked higher with us doing things right?

Now they are going to be out of any talk for 6 years. Any cheating during that time and they are done.

The difference between Vitter and Keenum couldn't be more stark - I'm comfortable with that.

The commish did them a favor this time. I?m sure he had a very direct talk with the sharks though. I?m sure he told them next time you?re on your own.

The Ole Miss' Network is well versed in what to do and not to do, and it has years of experience in this type of thing. If we started to do this we would probably get burned real quickly, and I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't somebody with OM connections. THey know how to play this game. THis was just a hiccup along the way for them. But anyway, it just isn't right.

The Ole Miss thing with lack of morals is not what we do! Hail State!

My thinking is that a person has a choice as to what to do with their money. I can’t see feeding my ego or building some sort of relationship with athletic personnel by throwing cash to sign an athlete.
Want your name on a building? Great! Want to endow a scholarship? Fantastic. Give a tremendous donation to The Palmer Home or help UMC or St Jude? Commendable to be sure.
But if you are kidding yourself by giving a bag of cash to an 18 year old so he can perform for your football team so you can jump up and down on a Saturday while thinking you are a charitable soul you’ve misplaced your priorities.
There you have it.

It's the same price Ole Miss has paid to make sure Mississippi is last in the world in income, education, health care, but first in obesity and teenaged pregnancies. Ole Miss is at fault for ALL this because they say they're the flagship of the State....OWN IT, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he caved this time, he'll cave next time.

Anyone that wants to become a disassociated booster can start doing things the Ole Miss way. I'm sure Keenum, Cohen, and Brett will kick them to the curb faster than Hugh Freeze can dial an escort.

Think the NCAA will keep a close watch on them during the years of probation? I don't think they have the guts to catch them and give them the death penalty. SMU is the one who should be apologized to. No way I would try to do things their way. We will soon have national championships in multiple sports. The future is bright indeed for us. Hail State!

P.S. The SEC should also have penalties to add to fellow members who act in this manner. No wonder the rest of the sports nation hates our conference.
