The sanctions are what they are. Disappointing yes, maybe there's something deeper or maybe the NCAA is spineless. It's done. Maybe the NCAA knows that they can't wait out the probationary period to get started again (SMU was on probation before they got hit so hard...) But they have all sorts of other things to work through anyway. It'll work itself out. The more we whine and complain about it, the more they enjoy it. Let's just ignore them and focus on the GOOD things happening at OUR university.
We just hired an seemingly awesome coach who is working to put a staff together. Any word on who else he might try to bring on? Any work on any new recruit names that he likes?
