If you recall, well before the COI hearing many UM sources were saying the self imposed penalties would be accepted. Now, no one in their right mind would look at this case and think ?13 scholarships?. USC did less and got double that. So, the source was right and it was well before the hearing. The only thing added was an extra year bowl ban, a VERY short probation, and show causes (which a university can?t self impose).
