The only penalty on Freeze would have been a 2 game suspension. Amazing.

The NCAA accepted OMs self-imposed, added 3 scholarships, suspended Freeze for 2 games and added an additional year bowl ban.

This is for LOIC, FTM, ACT Fraud, and pay for play over 3 staffs in a row all while having two other teams on probation within the athletic department. This is discovered, acknowledged, and proved systematic cheating over 10 years, and without the additional bowl ban, they got nothing. NOTHING. Spin it any way you want, but they won.

Steve costing them Freeze was the biggest hit in the whole ordeal. What a waste of 5 years.

We got worse penalties from Will Redmond?s ordeal than they got essentially.

What I hate about it is that we are too upstanding to even attempt to cheat. While we are surrounded by OM, Aub, UT, LSU, and Bama who we all know ya e no problem opening up he whole checkbook. We might as well drop to FCS. Ugh

The NCAA punished those involved more than the university itself. Maybe they felt bad that they hired Matt Luke as their coach.

If we don’t get all of this class in on the 20th it Katy bar the door, UNM will purchase what they want. UNM will not go crazy out of state for a few years but in state it will be open season and they will be balls to the wall with the network in full force.
