USC and texas both will be open. Who will fill them?

Will texas make the run after saban or Meyer (2 best in college football)? Will either leave?

If I'm texas, I go after Meyer or saban. If I'm turned down by both, I go after David shaw. If texas ran his system with elite, national talent, they'd be playing for national titles. Big programs should play smash mouth football. Up tempo, finesse offenses are for teams with a talent deficit.

Shouldn't at all. They have two extremely likely wins in Kentucky and Wake Forest (both at home), which gets them to 5. Then they'd just have to split Missouri (home) and Tennessee (away) to get to a bowl. I'd say they're well over 50% in probability of reaching their 3rd bowl in 3 years, which looks fantastic on Franklin's resume.
