There's been lots of discussion these last few weeks about what makes one program better than others. Money and/or winning can adjust some of these things. Obviously a lot of factors, but what say you? ...Not necessarily specific to us, but relates to UT problems, all SEC, etc. I for one am in the camp that Starkville/MSU has made great strides and can stand with just about anyone on most of these.

Tradition/Historical Success (cant be fixed short term)
League (positive), but divisional opponents (maybe negative...)
Operating budget (salary pool, staff size, etc.)
Town (including population size)
Proximity to large metro area
Local radius of population/potential recruits
Supportive Administration
Realistic Fanbase (is that real or not? Is crazy better as long as you can deliver?)
Unique Atmosphere
Facilities
