My thinking is if that coach can be a coordinator too, go after him. We are becoming D-line U so it?s a win-win.

I?ve always preferred LB coaches or DB coaches as my DC.

I?m sure there are exceptions, but, kind of like a catcher in baseball, DBs and LBs see what is going in front of them. Just seems like they come out with more feel for the entire puzzle

Bo Davis may be the best DL coach on the market though

Paying $1 million + for a DC should attract current good DC prospects as well.

What about Gene Chizik? I know he is a secondary guy, but I think our secondary could use a new direction.

Lance Thompson would be a good hire. Good coach, GREAT recruiter

Either Bo Davis or Lance Thompson would be a strong hire... especially on the recruiting front...

We have an excellent DL coach in Brian Baker. Ron English won Rivals defensive coordinator of the year in 2006.
