We have been run first, develop passing later for the most part on our QBs. From watching Penn State play, it appears Moorhead likes a mobile qb, but he wants a passer first. I think he will have to adjust his offense some to fit our QBs, but I expect us to go after a good passing qb. How good of a passer is Mayden?

He's gonna have a job keeping Mayden. We need to start recruiting another QB quickly

His offense at Fordham there was a lot of zone read in it as well. He?s strong in run game planning too. Our qbs and rbs gonna blow up in this offense

I think Key will thrive in his offense Mayden can spin it as well. Will be interested to see if we can hold on to him.. biggest thing he needs to shore up immediately though is the WRs in this years class. If he can hold on to grantham that will go a long ways with current defensive recruits should keep rolling on that side of the ball without missing a beat.

According to 247, Penn State has QB recruits committed for 2018 and 2019. Don't know anything about them.

Dave Lateral Move may have been a pretty good QB coach but Moorhead actually played QB. Let's hope he can do a good job developing these guys.

We have to find a vertical threat for next year as we have some serviceable guys but don’t think there is a legit deep threat in the group.

It's all in how you coach them. I have a feeling some of our guys are going to look better with a new route tree.

Say what you want, but Mullen is a hell of a QB coach.

Say what you want, but Mullen is a hell of a QB coach. no doubt, he has a proven track record. I just hope Moorhead can be pretty good at it too.

Hes scored in bunches everywhere he has been. Walks into Nick Fitzgerald, losing 1 starter on a good (at times) OL, loaded at RB, worst case getting Malik Dear back next year at WR along with what we have, gets a chance to add Whop, Heath, Guidry. We are going to be better on offense under Mo'Head

I'm moor excited to see what he does with the running backs. (See what I did there.) It looks like RBs feast in his offense. I LOVE IT!!! #AlwaysRunNeverPass #RTGDFB

Penn St. backup QB

A junior. Is he a grad transfer?

I hope he doesn’t bring Stephens. That would put Fitz or Key out in the cold. If he tries to replace Fitz, he would immediately flush the locker room. Having said that, he won’t.
